It has tangy and spicy taste.Everyone at home like it a lot :)
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 4 medium sized ( ripe tomatoes, they should not be sour)
- Onion - 1 medium sized
- jeera - 1/2tsp
- Red chillies - 4
- Curry leaves - 1/2 cup
- corainder leaves - 1/2 cup cut
- dhaniya powder - 1/4 tsp
- salt - as per taste
- oil - 2tsp
- Oil - 1tsp
- mustard - little
- Bengal gram - 1/2 tsp
- Urad shal - 1/2 tsp
- curry leaves
Method
- Heat a kadai with oil, add sliced onions , jeera and red chillies and fry for 2 mins.
- Add curry leaves, tomatoes and salt and fry till tomato becomes almost soft.Remove from flame.
- Add coriander leaves , dhaniya powder and grind .
- Heat oil in a kadai, add the items under "to temper" and then add the grinded chutney and fry ton medium flame for 5 mins .
