For Dough
- Maida – 1 cup
- water – as required
- Salt – as required
- Sugar – 1 pinch
Stuffing
- Green peas – 1 cup
- Green chilly
- salt
- sugar – 1pinch

- oil to deep fry the pooris
Method
- Mix the dough for the poori using the ingredients mentioned above for dough and cover it and keep it aside.
- Grind the ingredients mentioned above for stuffing except sugar to a paste.use very little water for grinding.
- Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan and add the grinded peas paste and fry on medium flame .Keep frying until the raw smell goes.Add one pinch of sugar and fry and keep aside
- Divide the dough into equal sized balls and stuff the green peas paste ( as done to make parotas) and press it into pooris and deep fry
- Serve it with sweet tomato chutney.
Sweet tomato chutney
Ingredients
- Ripened apple tomatoes – 4
- sugar – as per taste
- ghee – 3tsp
- elaichi powder – a pinch
Method
- cut tomato into small pieces
- Heat ghee in a pan and add tomatoes and fry till tomato becomes soft.
- Add sugar and elaichi powder and cook for sometime on low flame.
