GreenPeas Poori



Ingredients :

For Dough

  •  Maida – 1 cup
  •  water – as required
  • Salt – as required
  • Sugar – 1 pinch
Stuffing

  • Green peas –  1 cup
  • Green chilly
  • salt
  • sugar – 1pinch
others

  • oil to deep fry the pooris


Method

  •  Mix the dough for the poori using the ingredients mentioned above for dough and cover it and keep it aside.
  •  Grind the ingredients mentioned above for stuffing  except sugar to a paste.use very little water for grinding.
  • Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan and add the grinded peas paste and fry on medium flame .Keep frying until the raw smell goes.Add one pinch of sugar and fry and keep aside
  • Divide the dough into equal sized  balls and stuff the  green peas paste ( as done to make parotas) and press it into pooris and deep fry
  • Serve it with sweet tomato chutney.



Sweet tomato chutney



Ingredients
  •  Ripened apple tomatoes – 4
  • sugar – as per taste
  • ghee – 3tsp
  • elaichi powder – a pinch

Method

  •  cut tomato into small pieces
  • Heat ghee in a pan and add tomatoes and fry till tomato becomes soft.
  • Add sugar and elaichi powder and cook for sometime on low flame.
