It is a dish which I arrived at by just adding my choice of ingredients to paneer.
- Paneer – 100g (I prefer Milky mist paneer or Amul cubed paneer)
- Capsicum - 1
- Onion – 1
- Oil – 3-4tbsp
- salt
- Tomato sauce- 1tbsp
To grind to paste
- Garlic -6-7cloves
- Cinnamon – 1inch piece
- Clove – 2-3 pieces
- Elaichi – 2nos
- Coriander leaves
- Green chilly – 1
- Chilli powder – as per taste
- Peppercorns – 4-5 nos
Method
- Cut paneer into cubes.
- Heat 1tbsp oil in a pan.
- Shallow fry paneer and keep aside.
- Add remaining oil to the pan and fry onion till it becomes translucent and add capsicum and fry.
- Add the grinded paste , fried paneer ,tomato sauce and salt and saute for till 4 to 5 mins on medium flame.
- Paneer fry ready to eat.
