Kane Fish curry



Ingredients:
  • Kane fish -  6nos
  • Ghee - 1tbsp
  • oil - 2tbsp
  • curry leaves
  • tamarind juice - as per taste
  • salt - as per taste
To grind to a paste

  • Onion - 2 medium sized (sliced and fried in oil )
  • chilli powder - 2tsp ( I use everest tikalal)
  • garlic - 6-7 cloves
  • grated coconut - 2.5 tbsp ( after frying onion , add coconut and remove from flame)
Method

  • heat oil & ghee in a wide vessel.
  • add curry leaves.
  • then add the grinded masala, and half cupwater, cover the lid and cook it.
  • Then add tamarind juice, salt and water as required for the curry consistency and close the lid.cook till oil and ghee separates on the surface.
  • Add the fishes slowly one by one and close the lid.Cook for 5 min on low flame and serve with ragi ball and rice.
